Kansas City’s own Soopa Mooni was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and enjoyed music from a very young age. Growing up in a family that not only listened to music but performed as well. Mooni gained inspiration from music icon Michael Jackson based on his movements and his strong passion for the art. Watching his older brother perform with his friends during a talent show, Mooni was brought into the group and performed with them as well. By the age of 12, Mooni had begun to write his own music and later on in 2013 became a DJ after moving to Baltimore for a time. Making his way back to Kansas City, Mooni continued his love of music by going to Missouri Western State University to further and hone his talents, later cementing his first set of songs all written, produced, and engineered by him. Later in 2019 and 2020, Mooni met up with other engineers and artists to produce his first national single “4AM Hot Boy”. Now working with Hip Hop Mastered Production, Mooni is on his way to live his dream in hopes of winning a Grammy for his style of music. Soopa Mooni is an artist of superb caliber, a Chameleon if you will.
